Abdelazer knows all about it: trapped in his own destiny, he is forced to relive the same story over and over again, accompanied by the music of Henry Purcell. But this time, something changes. With the help of Estro, the Orchestra Master guiding the great Britten, who steps in to assist him, and above all Lagna, Queen of Spain and a prisoner of the very same fate, Abdelazer sets out to break the cycle, defeat his destiny and rewrite the ending of his story.
Full of unexpected twists and comic moments, the performance introduces audiences to the symphony orchestra and its different families of instruments, following the celebrated musical journey imagined by Britten in The Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra.
An adventure that teaches audiences to listen to, recognise and fall in love with the colours of the orchestra, turning every instrument into a character in the story.
