The programming of the 2023-24 Season was presented by the President of the Foundation

Tommaso Sacchi (Councillor for Culture of the Municipality of Milan) and
Francesca Caruso (Councillor for Culture of Regione Lombardia)
WATCH THE VIDEO OF THE CONFERENCE The new Season starts on September 10th 2023 (with the traditional Inaugural Concert at the Teatro alla Scala) to June 16th 2024, and which has as its main path a Symphonic Season consisting of 26 programs, flanked by the numerous collateral resigns that enrich the artistic offer of the Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano: 7 appointments for
Crescendo in Musica, 4 for
Musica da Cameretta, 3 concerts of the
Orchestra Sinfonica Giovanile di Milano, 3
Concerti Ristretti (shorter concerts), 6 appointments of the
POPs, 3 for the
Musica & Scienza (Music & Science) festival and 7 Chamber Music concerts at the
Teatro Gerolamo.
DISCOVER THE 2023/24 SEASON For 133 times in a Season the Auditorium of Milan will open its doors to the public.
2023 is a year of fundamental importance, marked by the thirty years of the Symphony Orchestra and the twenty-five years of the Symphonic Choir.
To celebrate this important milestone, from
October 22nd to
November 13th at the Auditorium of Milan will be staged the
Mahler Festival, an ambitious project never performed in Italy and which will include the performance of all the Symphonies and Lieder cycles of Gustav Mahler, with the involvement of the great Italian Symphony Orchestras , for the first time all together for a symphonic project.
The Music Direction will be composed of some of the biggest names on the international scene including
Andrey Boreyko (Resident Conductor),
Alondra de la Parra and
Jaume Santonja (Principal Guest Conductors),
Lucas & Arthur Jussen (Resident Artists), and
Kolja Blacher (Conductor of the Chamber Orchestra). Starting from the 2023-2024 Season,
Nicola Campogrande is the new Composer in Residence of the Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano.
