Chiara Maria Fiorani is a light-lyric coloratura soprano who has quickly established herself in the operatic scene thanks to her vocal brilliance, coloratura precision, and striking stage presence. Born in Palermo, she began her studies in opera singing in Termini Imerese and later graduated with honors from the Conservatorio di Palermo, earning both First and Second Level Academic Diplomas in Opera Singing. In 2025, she attended the Accademia di Alto Perfezionamento per Cantanti Lirici “Rodolfo Celletti” in Martina Franca, and she is currently continuing her training under Maestro Gianluca Valenti. She made her debut at a very young age, standing out particularly in the Mozartian and bel canto repertoire. Among her main roles are Königin der Nacht and Papagena in Die Zauberflöte by Mozart, Berenice in L’occasione fa il ladro by Rossini, Adina in L’elisir d’amore by Donizetti, Zerlina in Don Giovanni by Mozart, Euridice in Orfeo ed Euridice by Gluck, Celidora in L’oca del Cairo and Bastiana in Bastiano e Bastiana by Mozart, Violetta in Il duello comico by Paisiello, Frasquita in Carmen by Bizet, Amital in La Betulia Liberata by Mozart, and Berta in Il barbiere di Siviglia by Rossini. Chiara Maria Fiorani also distinguishes herself in 20th-century and contemporary musical theater, performing roles such as Flora in The Turn of the Screw by Benjamin Britten, Le Feu and Le Rossignol in L’Enfant et les Sortilèges by Maurice Ravel, presented at the Festival della Valle d’Itria in Martina Franca, Maria in Valigie d’occasione by Joe Schittino at Teatro Coccia in Novara, and La Rosa and La Volpe in Il Piccolo Principe by Enrico Melozzi at Teatro Salone Margherita in Rome. In the concert repertoire, she has performed, among others, the Concerto for Coloratura Soprano and Orchestra, Op. 82 by Reinhold Glière with the Ente Luglio Musicale Trapanese. Since 2018, she has been the winner of numerous international opera competitions, earning first prizes, critical acclaim, and special awards, confirming her talent and an artistic career in continuous ascent.
