Born in 2001, is the winner of the 2nd Erich Bergel International Conducting Competition (2024) and of the Premio delle Arti 2023, unanimously awarded to him.
He studied at the Accademia Chigiana with Maestros Daniele Gatti, Michel Tabachnik and Luciano Acocella, earning the Diploma of Merit at the end of the course. With the latter, he received his Master’s Degree in Orchestral Conducting with full marks (110/110 cum laude and special mention) at the G. B. Martini Conservatory in Bologna. He has since been selected for a Master’s program at the Royal Northern College of Music (UK), where he collaborates with leading orchestras such as the BBC Philharmonic, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, The Hallé, and Manchester Camerata.
Trolton has taken part as an active participant in international masterclasses with renowned conductors including Daniele Gatti, Michel Tabachnik, Sir Mark Elder, Donato Renzetti, Alpesh Chauhan, Luciano Acocella, Mark Heron, Nicolas Pasquet, Giovanni Pelliccia, Douglas Bostock and Ferrer Ferran. He also served as assistant conductor to Maestro Vasily Petrenko for Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 7 “Leningrad” with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic.
He has conducted orchestras such as FORM Filarmonica Marchigiana, ORT Orchestra della Toscana, ISA Istituzione Sinfonica Abruzzese, Filarmonica de Stat Târgu Mureș (RO), OPV Orchestra di Padova e del Veneto, I Solisti Aquilani, Orchestra Fondazione Luciano Pavarotti and Orchestra Senzaspine.
