Italian mezzo-soprano has quickly established herself as one of the most refined interpreters of Rossini and bel canto among the younger generation. She graduated with honors in singing from the Luigi Cherubini Conservatory of Music in Florence and won first prize at the XV Ottavio Ziino Competition in Rome.
In 2017, she was selected as a member of the Accademia Rossiniana at the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro under the guidance of Maestro Zedda, to debut the role of “Marchesa Melibea” in Il viaggio a Reims.
Highlights of her recent and future engagements include: Italiana in Algeri (Isabella) at the Teatro dell'Opera in Rome, Lucrezia Borgia (Maffio Orsini) at the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Il Barbiere di Siviglia (Rosina) at the Teatro La Fenice in Venice and at the Massimo in Palermo, Cenerentola (title role) at the Carlo Felice in Genoa, Capuleti e Montecchi (Romeo) at the Teatro Verdi in Trieste, Falstaff by Salieri at the Teatro Filarmonico in Verona, Pulcinella by Stravinsky with the Orchestra Nazionale della Rai in Turin conducted by Maestro Orozco-Estrada, Petite Messe Solennelle by Rossini at the Teatro Petruzzelli in Bari, Beethoven's Ninth Symphony with the Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano conducted by Maestro Emmanuel Tjeknavorian.
Her other engagements include: Il Barbiere di Siviglia at the Opera di Firenze (production by D. Michieletto), at the Glyndebourne Festival, and at the Savonlinna Festival; Italiana in Algeri (Isabella) at the Opéra de Toulon and at the Hungarian State Opera in Budapest; La Straniera (Isoletta) at the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino with Maestro Fabio Luisi; Anna Bolena (Giovanna Seymour) at the Teatro Verdi in Trieste with Maestro Ivan Ciampa (production by G. Vick); La Scala di Seta (Lucilla) at the Royal Opera House Muscat (production by D. Michieletto); Il Turco in Italia (Zaida) at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan and the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich; Les Contes d'Hoffmann (Nicklausse) at the Teatro San Carlo in Naples with Maestro P. Steinberg.
She also made her debut in the lead role in Marco Tutino's La Lupa e Il Berretto a sonagli (world premiere) at the Bellini Theater in Catania, directed by Davide Livermore and broadcast on Sky Classica.
