Lavinia Bini

Soprano Lavinia Bini graduated in singing with honor from the Conservatorio Luigi Cherubini in Florence and she won the Renata Tebaldi International Competition in San Marino.
Lavinia Bini made her debut as Despina in Così Fan Tutte at the Eurofestival in Rome and participated in the production of Il Barbiere di Siviglia in Fermo, directed by Damiano Michieletto.
Prestigious engagements followed: Serpina in La Serva Padrona and Livietta in Livietta e Tracollo in Bologna and Martina Franca; Zerbine in the world’s premiere in modern times of Pergolesi’s Servante Maitresse at the Pergolesi Spontini Festival in Jesi (Juliette Deschamps directing); Elena in Il Cappello di Paglia di Firenze and Lauretta in Gianni Schicchi at the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino in Florence (Sergio Alapont conducting and Andrea Cigni directing); Donna/ Sirena in Händel’s Rinaldo in Ravenna, Reggio Emilia and Ferrara (Ottavio Dantone conducting and Pierluigi Pizzi directing); Mercadante’s I Due Figaro at the Teatro Colòn in Buenos Aires (Riccardo Muti conducting and Emilio Sagi directing); Elvira in L’Italiana in Algeri in Bari in the production signed by Jean-Pierre Ponnelle; Adina in L’Elisir d’amore for the As.Li.Co circuit in Italy (Brescia, Cremona, Como, Pavia and Trento); Carolina in Il Matrimonio Segreto by Cimarosa in Ravenna and in Lucca, Julian Kovatchev conducting; Valencienne in Die Lustige Witwe in Verona; Don Giovanni as Zerlina at the Teatro Regio in Turin and Donna Anna in Don Giovanni at the Salzburger Landestheater.
Other recent engagements include: Gilda in Rigoletto in Liège; Rosetta in Tutino's La Ciociara in Cagliari; Don Pasquale in Cagliari and in Tokyo; Lauretta in Gianni Schicchi in Modena, Como and Cremona; Viclinda in I Lombardi alla prima crociata, conducted by Michele Mariotti and Adina in L'Elisir d'amore at the Regio di Torino, at the Comunale di Bologna and at the Maggio Musicale in Florence (Cavea); Elvira in L'italiana in Algeri at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées with the Teatro Comunale di Bologna; Zerlina in Don

Giovanni staged at the Comunale di Bologna, the Sferisterio di Macerata and the Arena di Verona where she returned to perform Carmen, while at the Teatro Filarmonico she was the protagonist of Il segreto di Susanna and La voix humaine; the world premiere of Battistelli's 7 Minuti in Nancy; Vinci's L'ammalato immaginario at the Martina Franca Festival; Carmen at the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino and Casanova and Albertolli with the Orchestra della Svizzera Italiana; Il Barbiere di Siviglia at La Scala in Milan and in Muscat; La Bohème in Trieste, Haifa and Tel Aviv; Der Kaiser von Atlantis at the Massimo in Palermo; Petite Messe Solennelle in Taranto and Così fan tutte in Muscat; La Boheme with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra; Il Barbiere di Siviglia in Muscat; Mozart's Requiem in Gorizia; Le Maschere in Wexford; Idomeneo in Stuttgart; and Puccini's Trittico at the Opéra National de Paris.

Among the engagements for the 2025–26 season are: Così fan tutte at the Opéra Royal de Wallonie in Liège; her debut in Falstaff at the Teatro Petruzzelli in Bari; and Un ballo in maschera at the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino.
