Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano - Persone

Lodovico Filippo Ravizza

A 31-year-old opera singer, he began his musical journey as a child at the Pueri Cantores school of the Cappella Musicale del Duomo di Milano, where he received his initial, solid vocal and musical training. Following this formative experience, in 2016 he began studying opera singing under the guidance of the bass Giuseppe Nicodemo, progressively deepening his vocal technique and operatic repertoire.
From 2019 to 2022, he continued his training at the ‘Giuseppe Verdi’ Conservatory in Milan. In 2021, he was accepted into the first edition of the Bottega Donizetti, an advanced training programme that enabled him to work with leading figures in the contemporary opera world.
The following year, he made a name for himself nationally by winning the 73rd ASLICO Competition in the emerging artists’ category and was admitted to the Accademia del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino. He made his operatic debut in 2018 in the role of Alidoro in a condensed version of La Cenerentola. His career gained significant momentum from 2023 onwards, the year in which he made his debut in Carmen as Moralés under the baton of Maestro Zubin Mehta, played Eduardo in Alfredo il Grande at the Donizetti Festival, and made his debut at La Scala in Le nozze di Figaro as Antonio. In 2024, he starred in numerous productions at leading Italian theatres, taking on roles of increasing challenge and prominence: Don Giovanni at the Teatro Ristori in Verona, Sharpless in Madama Butterfly at the Teatro Massimo in Palermo, Belcore at the Teatro Regio in Parma, Masetto at the Teatro La Fenice in Venice, Ping at the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino and at the Macerata Festival, Giorgio Germont at the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, and Renato in Un ballo in maschera at the Teatro Verdi in Busseto. In 2025, he continues his international career with Belcore at the Teatro Regio in Turin, Figaro in Il barbiere di Siviglia at the Teatro La Fenice in Venice, Nottingham in Roberto Devereux at the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía in Valencia and Ford in Falstaff at the Semperoper in Dresden, conducted by Maestro Daniele Gatti.
2026 will see him involved in a season of particular artistic and international significance. He will perform as Enrico Ashton in Lucia di Lammermoor at the Tiroler Festspiele in Erl and at the Teatro Del Monaco in Treviso, Giorgio Germont at the Teatro Comunale in Bologna, Ping in Turandot at La Scala in Milan, Albert in Werther at the Teatro San Carlo in Naples, and Nicola Bastiu in Accabadora, a new opera by Francesco Filidei commissioned by the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence.
He will make his debut as Marcello in La Bohème in Gstaad and Baden-Baden, return to the Semperoper in Dresden as Renato in Un ballo in maschera under the baton of Daniele Gatti, and perform the role of Paolo Albiani in Simon Boccanegra at the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino.
