Milan has "adopted" Emmanuel Tjeknavorian. The new Music Director of the Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano literally touched the hearts of the Milanese public. And Tjekanvorian literally fell in love with Milan:

Today we are witnessing the musical baptism of Emmanuel Tjeknavorian, we are witnesses of an even deeper adherence of the Maestro to the soul of the city, because, for the first time, he conducts the sound of the unconscious of Milan, Verdi's Requiem.
