Massimo Fiocchi Malaspina
Born in Novara, Massimo Fiocchi Malaspina completed his musical studies at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Milan, where he graduated in Choral Music and Choral Conducting, Composition, and Piano, and at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome, where he earned a diploma in Orchestral Conducting. He further specialized in orchestral conducting at the Pescara Music Academy under the guidance of Donato Renzetti.
As both pianist and conductor, he has performed in numerous opera houses and concert halls in Italy and abroad, including Switzerland, Germany, China, Japan, and the United Arab Emirates, as well as for RAI.

He is regularly invited to China to give university masterclasses on the Italian operatic repertoire.
Fiocchi Malaspina is responsible for the choral arrangements for the television programme Fratelli di Crozza, collaborated with the Clan Celentano on the animated series Adrian, and served as choral singing instructor in the documentary-reality series Il Collegio 2, broadcast on RAI2 in autumn 2017.
He is the Artistic Director of Arona Music Academy and, since 2022, has been a faculty member at the Conservatory of Cagliari. Together with Lucrezia Drei, he conceived and manages OnTheatre.tv, the first on-demand streaming platform entirely dedicated to theatre, developed during the lockdown of spring 2020.
Since 2022, he has served as Chorus Master of the Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano.
Holding a degree in Philosophy from the University of Lugano, he combines his musical career with medical studies at the University of Milan. He has received numerous awards in chamber music and choral competitions (both as a duo partner of baritone Niccolò Scaccabarozzi and with the choir Le Voci del Mesma), as well as in literary competitions.
