Slovenian tenor David Jagodic studied singing at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna with Claudia Visca, further specializing in Lied and oratorio with Kammersänger Robert Holl, with whom he graduated with honors.
From an early age, he stood out for the brilliance and elegance of his tenor voice, quickly establishing himself on the European operatic and concert stages. His repertoire includes Mozart roles such as Tamino, Don Ottavio, and Ferrando, as well as characters such as Lenski, Don José, Cavaradossi, and Sou-Chong.
In addition to his operatic career, David Jagodic is a renowned performer in concerts and Lieder recitals. He has performed, among other venues, at the Musikverein and Konzerthaus in Vienna, as well as at the Schubertiade in Schwarzenberg, collaborating with artists such as Helmut Deutsch and András Schiff. Since 2018 he has also been a member of the prestigious Slovenski oktet.
