Starting Tuesday, 3 February
Four 90-minute sessions, every Tuesday from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm
At M.A.C. – Piazza Tito Lucrezio Caro 1
Curated by Prof. Maurizio Corbella (Università degli Studi di Milano), the course provides the essential theoretical foundations and a historical framework for understanding the functions, languages, and dramaturgical value of music and sound in cinema. Through the analysis of different genres and styles, the programme explores how the sonic dimension contributes to meaning-making, narrative construction, and the audiovisual perceptual experience.
